Policies:
Reviews will be honest and thorough. Positive reviews are not guaranteed for products provided for review. However, I will be balanced and provide info such as "Why this didn't work for me, but it might work great for you." I am happy to share your talking points about your product and company, but I will be clear that the information is coming directly from your company.
Full disclosure that products were provided to Geek Sweetheart at no charge or at a discount for review will be included in all posts.
Turnaround time for review depends upon the product.
Stationery/Art Supplies/Fashion/Other: Two weeks from receipt of product.
Makeup/Haircare: Two weeks from receipt of product. I prefer to only use haircare products that are suitable for color treated hair.
Skincare: I have combo/oily skin with aging concerns, so products intended for dry skin will not be appropriate for me and I will not be able to review them adequately. I prefer to test skincare for one to two weeks prior to review, to fully understand the benefits of the product. Skincare reviews will be posted within three weeks of receipt of product.
Product review posts will be shared via Twitter and Instagram, @geeksweetheart.
Companies that have provided Geek Sweetheart with products for review may share the review post(s) as long as Geek Sweetheart is linked (or tagged) and credited.
